All of my children enjoyed listening to the story
I used this book in my classroom to prepare students for an upcoming ballet performance that we were going to attend. All of my children enjoyed listening to the story, but my boys were most interested. They kept asking if many boys really take dance class!! This led into great conversations which squashed stereotypes about boys dancing. My students particularly enjoyed looking at the photographs in the back of the book. Great read!!! The book is now proudly part of my classroom library.
